Mission & Vision

Cornerstone Bible Church is a new congregation of believers in Jesus Christ who live joyfully, worship passionately, serve lovingly, and take seriously the task of following him.

Our Purpose

To call people to Jesus Christ, so they may hear and know the call of God for their lives.

Our Passion

A church lives more for those outside it than for those inside it.
Our Principles

  • Word of God: grounding everything on this unshakable foundation
  • Pursuit of God: deepening desire for worship, prayer and holiness
  • Integrity: seeking authenticity and accountability in congregational life
  • Community: living as ‘one another’ to show Christian life attractive
  • Ministry: unleashing the people of God to serve Him and others
  • Message: keeping the ‘main thing’ as the main thing

Our Philosophy

The message is timeless, the methods are not

Our Priorities

  • Teaching believers: discipling
  • Building unity: strengthening
  • Developing relationships: loving
  • Connecting with unbelievers: evangelizing

Our Promise

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:18-19a)

Cornerstone Convictions

What people believe defines how they view the world. We view life as the Bible portrays it. The Bible is the final authority for all matters on which it speaks. It is the infallible truth of God, so we gladly and confidently affirm these essentials of our faith because they come directly from God’s Word. They are the unshakable pillars on which our ministry rests.

  • We believe in one God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – who is infinite, sovereign and perfect. To God alone we ascribe all worship, honor and praise!
  • Sin separates human beings from God. We sinners cannot save ourselves, but the grace of God alone is sufficient to accomplish salvation for us.
  • We honor Jesus Christ, the Son of God sent by the Father to the world to redeem humanity. Born of a virgin, he lived without sin, died on a cross to save from sin, was raised to life and triumphantly returned to the presence of his Father.
  • The Holy Spirit has been sent to glorify Jesus, convince us of sin, apply the saving grace of God for sin, guide believers into truth and impart power for us to live faithfully before God.
  • The church is a body of believers in Jesus who are imperfect, but forgiven. It is the chosen instrument from God to bring the gospel of our Lord to the world.
  • Jesus will return to the world – physically and personally, to consummate human history and bring to a triumphant conclusion the perfect, eternal will and plan of God.
