Family & Children
Cornerstone is family friendly. Our ministry to children, called Kornerstone Kids, is intimately small, but vibrant. Teaching and special events occur regularly.
Our Family & Children's Ministry Team has looked at many factors pertaining to the hectic, fractured, weekday evening schedules of our families and has considered how we can help meet the underlying needs of families- relationships, belonging, acceptance, encouragement, authenticity and partnership. We are eager to enhance our partnership with parents in the spiritual formation of their children.
Family & Children's Ministry Goals
- Developing children into fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ
- Expanding our children's ability to see that God's love can be shared as they live to serve others
- Providing activities that connect families and kids while applying biblical truths to their lives
Sunday School
K-Kids are dismissed from worship to their class. We use the Kingdom Kids Curriculum by Discipleship Publications International.
5th Sunday Worship
On each month with 5 Sundays, children remain in worship for the entire service. Worship bags are provided as well as the opportunity to worship together as a family.
Childcare
Under the watchful eye of our childcare leader, Jill Bobay, a nursery is provided for infants through 3 year olds.
