Our History
Cornerstone Bible Church is a 4.5 year old congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg, Florida, made of believers in Jesus Christ who live joyfully, worship passionately, serve lovingly, and take seriously the task of following him.
How We Got Here
A number of us had left a large denomination, looking to more faithfully express our mission and life together as believers in Christ. Cornerstone is the result of that desire, which has united us with clear focus and determined ministry. In our brief history, God has grown us, and equipped us to do effective ministry. We are now moving to the next opportunities that God has put before us.
Where We're Going
After just more than three years of life we head for a future that radiates with possibility and opportunity. So, we will neither be satisfied with the past nor timid about the future, but will doubtless look different in the years ahead. Change is inevitable, but ours will be purposeful in order to become a healthier and stronger church.
